Note from DeDe Mom: Sewing box belonged to Alice Maher, whose sister Florence w secretary to Dr. Wm. Stillman. Dr. Stillman was the doctor to the Watervliet, N.Y. Shakers. Florence went with him + had many shaker friends.Shouldn’t be used. The interior isn’t in good shape. Display only.
