Delivering on a Deadline

This video was shot during a leadership meeting at a hotel conference center near Kraton’s headquarters. The video aimed to capture leadership discussing what various company initiatives meant to them. The prompt for each person was simple, but the vast majority of the people attending the meeting were not used to being on camera. I utilized a teleprompter to display a logo and the prompt. This helped reduce on-camera nervousness by hiding the camera behind the teleprompter glass.

The turnaround time for this video was extremely tight. (i.e. shoot on Monday, premiere on Tuesday morning.) To handle the turnaround, I pre-built the graphics and Adobe Premiere timeline. As each meeting session started, I switched memory cards, ingesting the footage from the previous break during the next session when everyone was busy. This allowed me to edit throughout the day, between meeting breaks. By the time the next meeting break took place, the previous break’s footage was already placed on the timeline. I deliver the video at the end of the day, ahead of the scheduled 7 AM deadline.
